PLEASE Bring Back The Song Library!!

Since the upgrade, I've lost all motivation to use JamVox due to the painful process of having to get my songs on there one at a time, every single time. Not to mention no longer having all my pitch adjustments, tones, etc. stored for each and every song.

That's what kept me from updating. I prefer to stay on 1.52. It's a shame because that was one of the best features of JamVox. I wonder if the people who write/support it use it. It doesn't seem so.

Totally agree ..... version 3 has lost many of the very useful functionalities of v 2.01, and the library is the first !! To be honest, it's still a good tool for learning / practicing songs, but it is so much more difficult ro use than v 2.01, and the loss of the song library is a real pain.
PLEASE Vox / Korg, BRING BACK THE LIBRARY.

Bring back the library.
After i updated to the new version, the folders that all my backingtracks were is now gone. Hours spend to create a timesinc of the effects change was lost in each backing track i had. All of them had at least 5+ effects configurated per song. Now i must do on the fly everytime i need to practice a song that i already had the effects set in the early version of the program losing at least 15 minutes to configure the most simple song.

Without the library this is not an upgrade it's actually a downgrade. It is now a tedious product to use. I cannot believe musicians designed it. Having to import one song at a time is tedious. The program crashes every time try importing my itunes library. Now it takes 5 steps to import a song to play. Yes, you can save that single song as a "jamlist". So what. I HIGHLY suggest people not buy this "upgrade". The noise experienced since 10.6.5 is gone so are most of the helpful features.

+1 It's a shame to loose library, and not possible to create a new song just from a battery line..... Hope next udpate not to be a new downgrade ;-)

I have to agree - the product is worse w/o the library. I rolled back to 2.01 for just that reason.

Click HERE to go to the jamvox FAQ and check out Q. 61 on rolling back to v2.01. You'll find a link to the 2.01 download there.

I'm goingn back to 2.0 I wanted the video capibilities, but I'd rather have the library. 3.0 is not user friendly. You ruined this product with tryin to make it better.

I love JamVox but 3.0 version, com'on guys, I want to play a set of songs my guitar. Here's what I get with 3.0 / mess with computer for 5 minutes practice song go to next song mess with computer 5 minutes practice song. My computer skills are improving not sure about my guitar playin. Now, If you have patience and time then you'll love 3.0. Unfortunately I have no patience. If you are very familiar with 2.0, you most likely, will not enjoy or like 3.0. To all you new users of JamVox, if using 3.0 remember patience.

I downloaded 3.01.... Still no library.. I hate having to load a song and when that song is done, load the next one...etc. I just want to sit back and play. Going back to 2.01 again. *sigh*

Yes I totally agree with all of what the forum has said here. The "Tone Library" was the BEST feature of what seems to be a problem filled instrument. Surely the people at Vox are reading these comments, or are they going the way of the cheap and nasty. Vox use to be a name that instilled quality, but it seems you are now on a downhill spiral. Good business' should ALWAYS listen to their customers. After all, they are the people who keep the company going. If you loose their confidence in your product, you will very soon have NO PRODUCT. Listen to what we are asking you... Reinstall the Tone Library NOW!!!

Just up ... err ... downgraded to 3. Seriously a backward step. Hours of stuff lost. Why, why, why did I do it? Sheesh, no, I should be pissed at whoever wrote this crap.

Wish I had read this thread first.
