Tonelab EX latency with Windows 7

Hi everybody,

I have this terrible problem when conecting the Tonelab EX via USB to the computer... It´s supposed that when conecting the TLEX via USB the sound card doesn´t intervene, so the TL acts as a sound card itself, with its own driver, that can be downloaded here... so what´s the problem? I have a terrible latency and I you can´t configure the driver to manage this issue... Any idea?

Thanks!

Some common things to try:
-Make sure your USB chipset drivers are up to date.
-Make sure you are using a USB 2.0 or faster port, and also make sure the high speed USB chip isn't disabled in BIOS.
-If using front USB ports on a desktop, try the back USB. Those are usually on a different bus/controller which usually performs better.
-I have seen some ASIO drivers cause crazy high CPU load. You can easily verify if this is the problem, but there usually isn't a good fix.

I get my EX tomorrow, so I haven't set one up yet, but I will let you know how it goes. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I have used ASIO drivers before with success, but not with USB devices.
