DA5 with multi effects pedal

Hi!

I have a little question. Is it possible to connect a multi effects pedal on the DA5? Wich input do you recommend for that? The point is that DA5 can not bypass the distortions (I should to use the clean channel) to connect the pedal on the normal INPUT. The other option is to connect the pedal into the AUX IN, but if the pedal controls the volume, I do not know if I could burn the small speaker that the DA5 has.

I hope that you can help me!

I have been using the Vox tlst out - to the AUX input of the DA5 for well over a year.......it rocks the socks off of the DA5's built in effects.......go for it.

Thanks for your answer. How can I check if the power that I am putting in the DA5 AUX IN could damage the internal circuits of it?

Just be sure what you plug into the DA5 is not a power amplifier.......use 'line level' signal only, this ensures the DA5's built in amp is used to push the speaker, given that, it should be well matched. You control volume with the pedals potentiometer <the DA5 'AUX in' is at a fixed volume.>

I have been using a RP5 digi effects unit n the aux input of my amplifier and it works fine along with a volume pedal attached to the RP5 , with most of these digi effects units you are sending at line level and fed from the in built pre amp not to be confused with a power amp , as sugested above .
