ToneLab ST - Odd problem.

I have noticed when I strum the G and B strings together, open, it produces a weird reverb sound, even with all the extras turned off. It happens on every amp simulation, but is especially apparent on the overdriven ones. (Select a red amp) It's a warbly reverb that just makes playing sound unnatural when you're hitting both those strings.

Is this happening for anyone else? It's all I hear now when I'm playing through my ST. :(

What guitar/p/ups do you have?
1. Does it do this with any other guitar, or just yours?
2. If it does it with other guitars, try a factory reset
3. If only yours, then
(a) your strings may be old and not vibrating properly - change them
(b) your p/ups may be too close to the strings & the magnet pull causes double toning, especially noticeable with distortion. (Original strats suffer from this although its usually the bass E that's affected). Try lowering the p/ups a little.
(c) Your guitar needs a set-up including intonation (which you can do yourself - put new strings on first) and (possibly) neck adjustment - you might not want to do this yourself unless you know what you are doing.

Sorry for leaving info out.

Happens with both my ESP and Fender guitars. ESP has 10-46 and Strat has 9-42, so string sizes are different with the same problem. Both are set up with perfect intonation. It is the G + B strings stummed at the same time that causes this. If you strum any other two strings you get a nice clean tone, but when you strum the G + B you get a not so clean warbly reverb sounding tone. The more distortion you have the more apparent it is.

I am wondering if this is a programming flaw in the simulations?

Can you see if this happens with yours? Just to note, it is not that apparent until you go with lots of distortion (red amps), then you simply notice it no matter how clean you go to some extent.
