What I think of JamVOX so far.

Hi. when i bought my JamVOX, I was overjoyed, considering I'm a 14 year old kid, and had been looking at it for months. When i got it home, i installed everything, but when i plugged my "monitor"/amplifier in to my computer, it was crackling, and poping. Considering I only got it yesterday, I've learnt alot about the problems, and how to fix them. So i looked about the FAQ and did everything it says, but it still rarely happens, not during a sesion, but it's like this. Lets say i turn it on today, and it makes some noises, then i turn it on tomorrow, and it will not make a sound, unless i play a note. I'ts like that. This is the only problem with it. The rest of it works fine. How can i fix this permanantly. ALso i have had to install it twice, as it seemed earlier my Laptop was "allergic" to the monitor/amplifier, as it came up with a blue screen saying windows had to but shut down for some reason or another. But this is now fixed, though I'm still left very confused in why that happened. I know it was not VOX's fault, it was just my computer, so don't blame it on the software. It's still an amazing thing to have, and I'm happy with the discision i made about buying JamVOX. Thanks for a great product. But to end all this, i just have 1 more complaint. Why cant I make it fullscreen? If i can, please let me know.

That's it. I've had JamVOX for a week and today I'm taking it back to the dealer .I've 'given up trying to get it to work as intended . I've tried installing, reinstalling, using all the tricks in the book to get past the crackling and popping that's always there. In addition, when the program is up, beeing played or not, it has a tendency to blank the screen and totally freeze the laptop so it has to be reebooted (by removing the battery plus the connection to the wall socket.) Too bad, because I love the idea of JamVOX and was looking forward to enjoying it this summer. I guess this says a lot about the producers quality control seeing that a lot of additional buyers on this forum have experienced the same problems.

It's been a chuffing lottery as to when it works and when it doesn't! a few days ago I downloaded the latest UPdate...well that really screwed things up! every time the computer booted up I got a Warning saying that "JamVox has encountered a problem and needs to close" then the ruddy computer would then start to reboot...again...then again..then ag...well you get the picture. I had to do a set up and recovery on my Computer and then load up the first original JamVox software to get it to work again. I'm fed up with it! they have a real Software problem with this product and No Idea how to solve it. Mine is going on Ebay!

I just got my VT50 Last Weekend..all I can say is WOW!!!!!! The best AMP I have ever played!!
I Play Metal,Rock, Blues and this amp covers it all with NO problems...Totally satisfied!!
I will say that there was no warranty card in the box the amp came in so I hope by registering the amp on-line I'll have no problems getting the refund..I'll definately
recommend this amp to all my guitar buddies!!!
