A new Vox Fan posting for the first time,
I recently purchased a VT100, I am getting really good sounds from it but the interference going to the the amp is way to much too handle for my recordings, I have isolated/moved the amp to diffenet locations and still get it. If I lower the power the interference is lower, I like to be able use all the power, is there a way to minimize/reduce or even remove the level of inteference on this amp, is this common on this amp?. Any suggestions are welcomed.
Hey mate,
Check the user manual for the noise reduction adjustments (I have read ppl comment that the sustained notes can cut in and out if you adjust the noise red. To much, so keep that in mind), the noise could also come from pedals (if ur using stomp boxes).
You could also try a noise gate, I was looking at a boss noise gate last week and I think it would help if you don't want to reduce your power lvl.
Good luck
Thx mate,
But noise went away by itself? after many outlets were tested, wierd but I went back to its original noisy outlet and it sounds beautiful.
Currently using BBE Sonic Stomp and all I can say ... Sweet!
Hi,
i have to wait until Christmas to use my VT100 but i want to get some advice on some nice tones that i could use, i have always had a cube15 therefore was limited to what i could do with it. so i am very unexperienced with biger amps, with wider range. i mainly play light rock or blues but i would also like to hear a bit about the metal features that this amp has,
Thanks.
