Just did a system update and everything but JamVox is working. Jamvox can not play any sound and get's no signal from the guitar. When i start to play a somg in Jamvox, the speaker icon indicates that it's playing, but the player just stay at 0:00.
I can also see thet CPU usage is on 0% and usually it's about 10-15%

I have done everything i can think of and im sure it's a software update issue. After the latest Mac osx update, JamVox is not working and need to be updated.

Any Mac users having the same problems?

I use iMac 27" 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. OS X Leopard v. 10.6.5

Same here. Was wondering if there is a way to roll-back the system update? Would rather have the old apple and JamVox working until there is an update.

I guess JamVox software and macos 10.6.5 are not compatible :'(

same thing with me too. The Jamvox does not show up in the system preferences/sound control panel on my macbook pro. Although the light does come on when I plug in the USB cable.

Regarding the latest Mac OS X v10.6.5, we are currently evaluating its compatibility with VOX products.

There does appear to be issues with some music related software/instruments.

At this current time, JamVOX is confirmed as incompatible with Mac OS X v10.6.5

We ask that consider refraining from updating to Mac OS X v10.6.5 and keep v10.6.4 until further notice.

admin sorry for bothering you, but a downgrade to 10.6.4 would be a great problem for all the users!
i think and hope vox developers will fix that issue pretty easy and quickly

there are an increasing number of Mac users - only a few represented here on the forum. Many will have fallen into the same problems & rolling back to a previous OS isn't easy and really not something many will wish to do . However I'm hoping Vox can see fit to get an update or patch sorted. Maybe Vox programmers could communicate with Apple to get a quick resolution.

Same problem here. Decided to boot from my Mac OS 10.6.3 installation DVD. After the re-installation process, I was happy to see most of my apps/profile settings were still in tact. Installed the 10.6.4 iMac update subsequently (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1065). Final step, re-installed JamVox. Very painful process, but glad to have my JamVox back. I'll stay away from 10.6.5 until further notice.

Same problem here! I'm using this one for teaching and recording, so I just can't work now!!!
I'd like to see an official answer about the date of the fixing, because the jamvox can't work on Mac, Windows XP and either Vista ( because the unfixable noises ), so I'm pretty nervous and thinking to sell this stuff and never buy another Vox product! So please hurry up to fix the problem and inform us what will happens in this case!!!!

as you JamVox users can see on the official website, JamVox Software is at the moment declared not compatible with macos 10.6.5

I am sure guys at Vox understand how important is upgrading that software, since every new mac is sold with the new macos release and almost everyone will have on they're mac the new version of the OS!
this will means that most macusers will sell their JV, and none of the new macuses will buy JV... what a mess ....

so I hope Vox will tell us (on the forum or the homepage) they're working on it, or at least are going to do it ;)

At this moment there are two critical problems at JV Soft
1- Do not work at Windows 7 64 bits ( no audio )
2- It's not supoorted on Mac OS 10.6.5

Don't know if is Vox or Korg who has to give support to the software ( i think that vox worked on hard and Korg on soft but i'm not 100% sure of this), and this could be the main problem. Two different enterprises sharing responsabilies for a unique product....and they can not control client side hardware/software....so problems are coming for sure.

I think that the main problem resides on ASIO Driver, not the soft itself. Interface between hard and soft and os dependable part, its a sensible site for getting this kind of problems.

This forum may be better attended, there is few people, few staff, no technical people at it...There is little info about news, state of issues, etc.
It should improve both the level of attention to customers, and the level of information served, further upgrade of the status of issues and even improve the appearance and functionality of this forum.

It gives the feeling that has been little effort at this, what does not speak highly of the product. And while there are very many customers happy with the product who have not had any problem with it (so they do not appear on this forum, dont need to ), few or many who pass through here, have to take a great disappointment when reading negative comments about the product and attention to users ....

Do not understand how a large company can afford to lose customers and reputation for things like this.

i too am having the same problem. called tech support last week and opened a case. they said they will work on it and get back to me. have not heard back but if i do will keep you all posted. may even call in sometime this week to get an update. if no eta must sell jamvox and get $$$ to buy other hardware interface so i can use garageband/amplitube 3. i don't even use their lame software (no offense) any more just hardware interface (which i love). reason is amplitube 3 (and fender / jimi h. updates) have much better tones and effects. you can slow tracks as well. i understand the isolation was the main feature (and the reason i bought jamvox) but it never really worked out for me. so it is just a MIDI hardware interface so i can plug in and jam. with that said they fix it soon i keep it as it serves its purpose well. if they dont can anyone recommend a good interface for $100-$200 range thx?!?! good luck vox fingers crossed for solution by end of month or you may have a bigger problem on your hand than you want or realize. of course are people still buying this thing it may have been a fad and if they no longer selling perhaps we SOL
