AC15TBX Question

I'm not sure if my amp qualifies as Vintage, as it's a 90's AC15TBX. Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this amp =).
Anyways, about a month after buying it from the previous owner, I noticed the lamp infrequently flickers. If I just tap the Area next to it, it comes back to full intensity. Also, if I switch it to standby, many times the lamp is fully lit again. Some weeks this doesn't even happen. My best guess is a loose wire or bad joint. Is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks fellow seekers!

Just my 2cents - When I put Mercury Magnetics transformers into my 1996 AC15TBX, I found more than a few "cold" solder joints on and around the PC boards. I went around with a soldering iron and some flux and retouched every joint that I could find. Maybe your amp was soldered by the same guy mine was?

Try unscrewing the bulb and screwing it back in again, they get loose.

It's not a bulb, it's an LED. If you're handy with a soldering iron, that's good advice from tomkat. I had an intermittent input jack on my AC15TB2, reflowing the jack socket's solder connections solved it.
