I have aquired a 1960 AC30, I have no idea what these are worth. It works, but is cosmetically a bit tatty and the the amp has had an ext speaker socket wired in at some time. The speakers are the original blue vox ones and the transformers are the Haddon type, again original. The amp works fine, though the trem doesnt, probably the valve, no idea! This is no oil painting. I have pics and can email em to interested parties, and invite offers for what I guess is a restoration project for someone in the know.
This goes on ebay tonight, where you can see extensive pics of the additional wiring etc.
Phsycoandy, I dont know anything about values of vintage Vox amps, but I know they are sought after. George Gruhn in Nashville is the top collectible instrument expert. You may want to give his shop a call and ask for a general idea. They may have someone looking for it. A friend of mine had a single cutaway Rickenbacker guitar from the 60's and ended up selling it to Tom Petty brokered by Gruhn's shop. Here is their phone number (615) 256-2033
