feedback/hum from ac15c1... normal?

just picked up my ac15c1 yesterday. brillant sounding amp, and ill post more impressions on it once i brake it in a bit more. but first, i have a question. this is my first lower wattage tube amp, so any advice/tips would be great.

im getting a rather loud feedback/hum (not an ear spiliting high pitch sound, but more like a low constant hum) when i push the master volume high. not even sure if its "feedback" because i will have the volume quite low, just the master volume high, and im getting this sound. trying to get more overall volume out of the amp with a cleaner tone, but i keep having to cut the master back to kill the feedback/hum. is this normal for the amp? using an epiphone les paul with humbuckers.

Mine does not do that and I have a Gibson Les Paul. I have also used my Epi Les Paul and my
Fender jag HH. No hum to complain about.
It could be your cables/pedals or even the power wiring where you play it. Try some Mogami or monster cables and a good power conditioner. Otherwise have someone look at the amp.

kulagun, does the problem go away when you turn the master down? ill get a weird drone/hum out of the amp sometimes when the master is above the halfway mark regardless of where the channel volume is. its not feedback best i can tell, as it is just from the master volum being up high when i have problems...any one from vox that may read this have any advice?

So I bought this amp a week ago... and I LOVE IT... but I get this loud feedback (almost like the amp goes to full volume and kicks out the signal) has this happened to anyone else??? Do I have a bad egg or maybe just a simple fix...
