Cabinet options for AC15c1?

For my money the AC15C1 with a 2x12 extension gives me everything I need. I have no problems with volume - I'm using master volume on half and varying the channel volume depending on which guitar I play and how much crunch I want. No problems with keeping up with the others, even our 'Animal' drummer! I am one happy bunny. One thing I've found with bigger amps I've owned is that there's rarely an opportunity to 'open up' the master volume without the prior approval of a structural engineer. How many of us have had 50w or 100w amps before and only been able to play with the Master volume on 1 or 2? More than would care to admit. With the AC15 I can let it stretch it's legs so to speak. Small is beautiful!

+1 on that nick; I have a 50 watt Marshall half stack and a 40 watt Fender blues deluxe that are completely idle since acquiring the C1 and a 1x12 extension cab. It's time for a yard sale, but it's hard to let 'em go. I am a believer; like you said "small is beautiful". I'll never go back.

You can get a Vintage style 1x12 cabinet with the same cabinet size and look as the AC15C1 from Avatar Speakers. www.avatarspeakers.com What you are looking for is the G112 Vintage Custom Cabinet. Speakerless you get it for $199 and there are a load of speaker options for $249, which includes the Vintage 30 and Greenback. You can get the G112 with a Celestion Blue for $429. You can even get the same piping and grill cloth that Vox uses. This is the best place to fill the void left by no choices for the AC15C1. Avatar is a great company and will build it the way you want it.

I built my 2x12 with Eminence Red Fang and Wizard speakers....WHOA NELLY!!! what a huge difference. Sound is fat and lush, chimey and clear. Amazing and blows the GB out of the water tone wise.

I'm using the 16ohm V112T cab that came with my AC4TVH as an extension for the AC15C1 - sounds great!!

I think i'm going to gut my Marshall 5210 combo that's making strange noises and fit it with a greenback. I'll use it as an extention and stick the marshall back in it if the AC15 blows up. ^^
