AC30CC2 Color Question « VOX | Discussion Forums

In two different music stores today and noticed two colors for the Vox AC30CC2 -- both had the brown grill but one amp was bluish and the other black. Do they come in a choice of color or is one a newer model year than the other?

This is odd as they only come in one colour, so I can't explain why you saw different colours.

Appreciate the answer. If all that is being currently sold is the blue, that's fine with me.

But I did see a black AC30CC2 in a store yesterday. It was black (brown grill) and looked spanking brand new plus it had all the paper work and tags all on the amp. Also I have found a black AC30CC2 (called a "1965 style") on the net (I assume that one was modified). The black one in the store, though, confused me. Perhaps modified amps are being put on the market. I'll stick with what VOX puts on the market.
