I'm not sure about this, but I think there's a problem with my vt100, but I'm not sure what it is. I bought it about three weeks ago and one of things I tried was getting feedback from my guitar and it worked fine. Now I can't seem to get it to feedback at all. Also, sometimes when I move the gain knob I hear this crackling sound, which leads me to believe it is somehow connected.
It's a strange thing but with my AD100VT amps you have to kind of reset all the pots or they will sound weak. For example, If I change to another amp model and I would like to have less or more gain I have to back the gain the whole way back down to '0,' then all the way to max open or '10' then back to '0' then up to the setting. It's like that on both of my 100's. When I do that it seems to reset it but If I don't reset it like that the gain will sound weak. It's like that with the tone knobs as well. I hope that's all it is...Good Luck!
Cheers,
Kev

Hey Rich, thanks for the link. I'll try cleaning the sockets, but I need to get some switch cleaner. I don't think that's the problem though. The volume sounds fine, its just that the when I adjust the gain knob it crackles a lot. I suppose it could be the wiring, but it's a new amp. The amp still works fine - all the controls work and the amp models sound fine, but it concerns me that I can't get feedback when I'm standing right next to the amp. Instead, all I get is a lot of noise.
Oh and thanks for your advice aswell mixman :P. I don't think that is happening with mine. Sounds like it would be really annoying to reset all the tone knobs every time you switch models.
