I'm kind of behind the curve as the most effects I've ever used is reverb and a foot pedal to kick in the gain channel for some crunch. Either way, I like it so far and am trying to figure out how it will work into the music I play, as I don't do a lot of distortion and it seems a lot of the factory presets use it. Also, as I bought it new, it came with all the labels and manuals and the top label shows the 20 factory "Songs". Here they are with their associated numbers: 50 - Back In Black 51 - Man In The Box 52 - Jessica 53 - Paranoid 54 - Smoke On The Water 55 - Layla 56 - Sweet Child O Mine 57 - The Trooper 58 - All Along The Watchtower 59 - Free Bird 60 - Smells Like Teen Spirit 61 - Message In A Bottle 62 - Pride & Joy 63 - Hot For Teacher 64 - Tush 65 - Satch Boogie 66 - Black Dog 67 - Enter Sandman 68 - Tie Your Mother Down 69 - For The Love Of God So, if I were trying to make a metallica sound more trembly, as voxman asked about, my first guess is that I'd start with 67, change the treble control to make it sound right, then save it to one of the user slots (0-49). If it wouldn't allow the treble control to do anything (manual says some cabs won't), I'd change the cab to one that would sound similar, but allow treble control, then save it to a user slot. Good luck and let us know if that works. I haven't actually tried this, just going off what the manual says.
