<description>&#60;p&#62;Another solution is to insert an external compressor or wah-wah pedal in the FX loop using the 'insert' feature.  This will let you have 'global' access to that effect with any patch, and still allow you to select a pedal effect.

<description>&#60;p&#62;No.  They're both in the pedal bank.  But you can use the filter effect from the modulation bank, and assign the volume pedal to control it, which is pretty close to a wah wah.  Then you can use it with a compressor.
