After trying my ac30 with my weber minimass, in the dummy load setting. i decided to try out the 8 ohm setting as the headphone levels were acting weirdly (was curious). the 8ohm setting was not properly selected on the weber for about two seconds, and yet the amp has gone completely dead. couldn't see any breaks in the fuse but changed it anyway and still no response.

seems strange to me as its usually advised that tube amps can drive a lower impedance cab. and also, it doesn't sound like the usual impedance mismatch damage which is usually not immediate from what i've heard.

anyone know what parts to replace?
