I think you are right and it will not work well unless you turn off the AX1500G distortions as the as the Satchurator already has more than enough gain. I have the tonelab le, and the distortions are nicely smoothed out by the cab sim, but if you remove the cab sim the distortions have a harsh edge to them i like to avoid. Does the satchurator have the smoothness on its own without any help from cab sims? I'm seriously thinking about adding it to my rig.
