Thanks for the feedback guys. I do have the footswitch to operate the tremolo and reverb and the tremolo works great. Midlothian is a bit too far for me to go but I did find an authorized service center very close by (thanks for the link!) so once I can bring myself to stop playing it I will drop it off for servicing.

Hey dramajunkie,

Glad to hear you're digging your amp! To get your reverb fixed under warranty, you'd want to bring it to your nearest VOX USA Authorized Service Center. You can find the nearest location here: http://www.voxamplification.us/service/servicelocator.asp. Please note that for warranty coverage, a product must be repaired at one of our VOX USA Authorized Service Centers.

Enjoy the amp and thanks for the support!

Well, there is an option to turn the reverb and tremolo on/off, no matter what the pots (dials) are set to(using footswitch). Why don't you pick up a Vox VFS2A (footswitch) for $40 and see if using the footswitch turns the reverb on.
Also, if this does not work, the best place to get guitars/amps serviced, in my opinion, is Midlothian Music in Orland Park. It's a suburb south of chicago.
Midlothian Music is at about 15300 South and 9400 West.
Good Luck to ya.

It really has that Black Keys tone that I've always wanted. The one problem I have is that the reverb coil seems to be inactive. I get literally no reverb at all no matter what amp settings I use or what levels the reverb tone and mix pots are set to. It's as if the reverb coil is gone, but its not. It's cradled nicely in its pouch at the bottom of the amp and the leads are nice and snug at both the coil and in the inputs on the chassis. So it looks like I may have to turn it over for some servicing to a local authorized Vox service center as the problem is most likely covered under the warranty. Unless someone here has a solution that I have not thought of that will not void the warranty. Have any of you fine Vox owners had any service done in the Chicago area? If so, can you recommend a shop that is competent?
