Quite easy question:
Is there a possibility to change something in the female jack to achieve that?

It would be perfect to have a monitor/ supporting box and the signal amplified by a PA!
It would be nice to have this option for recording straight into the computer, too.

Of course this should not do harm to the LNT.

I'm a beginner on guitar, and i see that when i set the amp on Uk Modern setting or High Gain, i can get some decent feedback with my strat. After a bit of feedback i notice the sound is much better, punchier you know. Can i do this often, or does it damage my amp?
I've seen several guitar players doing this... Cobain, etc...

So I did some checking and this feedback whistle happens usually when the UK or US metal amp is selected and sometimes the US high gain too. 51,53,56,57,63,67,72,73,76 and 77 all do it. And again only in the FX loop. I was going to try with my vt30 but forgot I don't have an FX loop in that amp. I'm wondering if a replacement will fix this or is it something about my amp

Thanks Voxman. I also have a vt30 and liked some of the options it had so I thought this would help me get some of those options out of my crate. I have mod50 speakers in the crate and upgraded all the tubes in addition to some circuit work that makes it sound like a 3 channel SLO amp. I had a Digitech 350 but never could find anything I really liked about it and thought it was way too digital sounding. So I have higher hopes for this ST. I'll probably send it back to Americanmusical and ask for a replacement.

I have no such problems with my TLST so I'm wondering if there's possibly a fault with yours. I'd suggest going back to the store to try another one & changing it if appropriate.

I bought the tonelab st to use with my modified crate v33 combo. I first tried it thru the fx loop and found many of the preset settings resulted in a feedback like sound that was extremely loud and scared all the cats in the house. I found that I did not get this when running directly between my guitar and the amp but that I did get a lot of hiss when the tonelab was in the bypass mode and the gain channel of the amp was used. I don't get this hiss with the tonelab removed so the tonelab must be causing this even though it's in the bypass mode.

I think the loud feedback sound is a gain or volume issue and I could probably adjust it out for the presets that produce this problem. I saw that someone else mentioned this issue in another thread but they never said what they did about it. I've never had a pedal do this before and was wondering if anyone had any advice. It seems either way I hook the st up I've got some issues to deal with. I have tried all of the amp settings at the back and always get either the hiss or the feedback sound. Thanks

kulagun, does the problem go away when you turn the master down? ill get a weird drone/hum out of the amp sometimes when the master is above the halfway mark regardless of where the channel volume is. its not feedback best i can tell, as it is just from the master volum being up high when i have problems...any one from vox that may read this have any advice?

Mine does not do that and I have a Gibson Les Paul. I have also used my Epi Les Paul and my
Fender jag HH. No hum to complain about.
It could be your cables/pedals or even the power wiring where you play it. Try some Mogami or monster cables and a good power conditioner. Otherwise have someone look at the amp.

just picked up my ac15c1 yesterday. brillant sounding amp, and ill post more impressions on it once i brake it in a bit more. but first, i have a question. this is my first lower wattage tube amp, so any advice/tips would be great.

im getting a rather loud feedback/hum (not an ear spiliting high pitch sound, but more like a low constant hum) when i push the master volume high. not even sure if its "feedback" because i will have the volume quite low, just the master volume high, and im getting this sound. trying to get more overall volume out of the amp with a cleaner tone, but i keep having to cut the master back to kill the feedback/hum. is this normal for the amp? using an epiphone les paul with humbuckers.

Oh and thanks for your advice aswell mixman :P. I don't think that is happening with mine. Sounds like it would be really annoying to reset all the tone knobs every time you switch models.

Hey Rich, thanks for the link. I'll try cleaning the sockets, but I need to get some switch cleaner. I don't think that's the problem though. The volume sounds fine, its just that the when I adjust the gain knob it crackles a lot. I suppose it could be the wiring, but it's a new amp. The amp still works fine - all the controls work and the amp models sound fine, but it concerns me that I can't get feedback when I'm standing right next to the amp. Instead, all I get is a lot of noise.

It's a strange thing but with my AD100VT amps you have to kind of reset all the pots or they will sound weak. For example, If I change to another amp model and I would like to have less or more gain I have to back the gain the whole way back down to '0,' then all the way to max open or '10' then back to '0' then up to the setting. It's like that on both of my 100's. When I do that it seems to reset it but If I don't reset it like that the gain will sound weak. It's like that with the tone knobs as well. I hope that's all it is...Good Luck!

Cheers,
