Steph Carter of Gallows on the Vox 55 and 77 series guitars
Vox previously caught up with Steph on the release of their Grey Britain album and things haven’t slowed down since. The summer saw them play some major European festivals and the band are currently touring the UK. This time we caught up with Steph on how the Vox 55 and 77 series guitars are joining their AC30’s as a staple in the bands set up.
“I really like the pickups and the different tonal variations you can get out of it… you can flick between so many combinations that you can get the best part of hundreds of different sounds out of one guitar. That’s something I’ve always been looking for in an instrument that I’ve never been able to get out of the guitars I’ve been playing…..It’s been designed to play, as well as to sound however you want it to sound. If you want to play Punk, you can play Punk, if you want to play Indie, you can play Indie, if you want to play Jazz….it all works. I really like it…I can’t wait to see what Vox bring out next. I have finally found an instrument I’m happy with.”
